The main reason I love reading the Financial Times is for Mrs Moneypenny’s column: it’s business mixed with English Humor and I put down the paper having smiled and learned something!
This week-end she wrote about the 4th Important Dinner for Women. Last Wednesday night, 300 leading women from the worlds of politics, entertainment, business, fashion and media, were hosted by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Wendi Murdoch and Indra Nooyi at the 4th Important Dinner for Women at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. All these women pledge to help focus on the issue of maternal Health and want the G8 to be accountable for its efforts in attempting to save 6 million lives by 2015.
