Enfin, qu’allez-vous imaginez, la!
I just need to add another room to be able to get the triptyque by Steve Lambert from 20×200!
There is something about his work that just triggers an immediate YUP! with a corner of my mouth that just winks. And then the thinking begins, slowly even slightly unconsciously so.
I’ll let you know where this one takes me… hopefully to be using every corner of my apartment to it’s full potential.
So explore Steve Lambert’s work. I loved his New York Times Special Edition … Made me want to dare to start thinking that maybe the world could be slightly different.

Artist Statement: “I want my art to be relevant to those outside the gallery – say, at the nearest bus stop – to reach them in ways that are engaging and fun. I intend what I do to be funny, but at the core of each piece there is also a solemn critique. It’s important to be able to laugh while actively questioning the various power structures at work in our daily lives.
I have the unabashedly optimistic belief that art changes the way people look at the world. That belief fuels a pragmatic approach to bring about those changes.”

If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.

Last night I dreamed about you. What happened in detail I can hardly remember, all I know is that we kept merging into one another. I was you, you were me. Finally you somehow caught fire.

This dance choreographed by Pina Bausch is something I find fascinating, literally and metaphorically. Falling in love, letting go and just falling into his arms. He’ll catch you.
I am impatient to see the entire movie.
Extract from the movie Pina by Wim Wenders
PINA is a feature-length dance film in 3D with the ensemble of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, featuring the unique and inspiring art of the great German choreographer, who died in the summer of 2009.
PINA is a film for Pina Bausch by Wim Wenders.
He takes the audience on a sensual, visually stunning journey of discovery into a new dimension: straight onto the stage with the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch ensemble, he follows the dancers out of the theatre into the city and the surrounding areas of Wuppertal – the place, which for 35 years was the home and centre for Pina Bausch’s creativity.
