PS : Let’s start with an easy one…
If I don’t post it usually is because I’m tied up with work – and yes my work involves a lot of phone calls!
The champagne bottles are dry and the fridge is empty: the holidays must be over!
Time to get to start the writing of Ze SIF Book & follow the advice of Sylvia Plath by abandoning any self-doubt about this crazy endeavor: “And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”
And since this is my first attempt I will also follow this short Great Rules of Writing

Do not put statements in the negative form.
And don’t start sentences with a conjunction.
If you reread your work, you will find on rereading that a
great deal of repetition can be avoided by rereading and editing.
Never use a long word when a diminutive one will do.
Unqualified superlatives are the worst of all.
De-accession euphemisms.
If any word is improper at the end of a sentence, a linking verb is.
Avoid trendy locutions that sound flaky.
Last, but not least, avoid cliches like the plague.

A string means, among other things, a cord for leading an animal, especially a horse, and is therefore found in a number of expressions having to do with the exercise of control. They include no strings attached (without restrictions), string along (join the ‘string’ of horses, i.e. accompany, often reluctantly; mislead), and possibly pull strings (exercise influence), though the latter may derive from puppetry.

Et oui mes cheris, fini les vacances!
I am back on my computer.
For work as you can see but I have decided to give SIF a little bit more time – BTW please accept my apologies if I have not answered SIF related emails but work has taken over for quite some time. But it would be hypocritical of me to blame it all on work there’s also been a VIL lately – as in Very Important Lover.
In any case, and too bad if you were in only for the hot pics, I have decided that I wanted/needed to write again. Rest assured, it won’t require you to get any PhD. I just feel that there is too much politics out there and not enough seduction and I hope that my need of trying to even out politics is a good enough reason for you as it is as of now for me.
Voila mes cheris, its back like in the old SIF days.
