More Queens Please!

Can ancestral laws be changed ?

Well apparently they can and they might ! England’s Prime Minister, Mr Cameron wants to end male primogeniture, one of the country’s few legalised glass ceilings. That is what I read in the Financial Times this week-end. Obviously, it is more a marketing proposal than one that would directly benefit the women in the U.K.

Or maybe they finally acknowledged that some of their greatest rulers have been Queens : Elizabeth I & Victoria, not Kings… hmmm.

Here is the link to the FT’s short Op-Ed… seems very appropriate for the journal’s motto: http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/a00932ae-f66f-11e0-86dc-00144feab49a.html#axzz1b06UV5ga

Feminine power

Mes cheris!

I was off to Kripalu for a gorgeous week-end dedicated to the Feminine Power with Katherine Woodward Thomas. It was quite an inspiring experience to be surrounded with such determined and delicious women.  I couldn’t summarize in a few words these 3 days but it felt so empowering to be part of these conversations with all these women dedicated “to go to peace together” by fulfilling their destiny in such creative ways.

Ladies, I urge you to sign up for their free download. You will never speak to your girlfriends the same way after listening to it: indeed it is urgent to hold each other accountable for our vision and allow it to happen from our deepest and strongest feminine energy.

And if you have the possibility, visit Kripalu. The beauty of the area allows for magical walks in the woods and yoga does wonders for one’s flexibility. 3 days was perfect. More than that and I will need some further convincing regarding the sex-appeal of the “birkenstocks, kale & quinoa” trilogy.

Anyway, my adrenaline received quite a kick there when I came face to face -less than a 100 yards that is- with a black bear on saturday as I was walking in the woods. He winked, I took his picture and blew him a kiss .
