In case you thought you were too old to start something!

Did you know that 13 Grandmothers from all different tribes and countries have created together a group to share with the world all their different healing practices.

I was very impressed to hear about them and what they have achieved. They represented all women who through the many various experiences of her life have acquired wisdom and knowledge. They is now sharing their gifts with the younger generation, transmitting the valuable lessons and inspiring us with a “it’s never too late to act”.

It is often during the holidays that generations come together but if your family is far away or not quite the one you would have chosen for yourself, you can listen this week-end to the 13 grandmothers and even receive their blessings on Sunday night.

In 2004, thirteen wise women elders, shamans, and medicine women formed the International Council as a means to promote world peace and to share their indigenous ways of healing. The film showcases their first gathering and follows them to the Amazon rainforest, the mountains of Mexico, and Dharamsala, India where they meet with the Dalai Lama. Facing a world in crisis, the Grandmothers share with us their visions of healing and call for change now, before it’s too late. Through their teachings, they are lighting a way to a peaceful, sustainable planet. This film documents their unparalleled journey and timely perspectives on a timeless wisdom.
