Lamia Ziade: more political than sexual

Lamia Ziade‘s art is on the top of my wish list. I love all of it. Maybe it is the bright colors that feel naive. Or perhaps her collages have a strong sexual message yet filled with political reference? But I think it might just be humor present as a red thread in her work .

She has worked in Fashion for Gaultier and Miyake. She published several books including some Children’s one but my favorite book is: Maximum use of Softness with texts from French author Vincent Ravalec. A book dedicated to sexual exploration and erotic self discovery. She website has most of her work.
