You should have seen my reaction when I saw a flyer for a adies Rock Camp: my inner rock chick went wild!

Unfortunately, I can’t play any instrument. And until now had compensated by sliding in a pair black leather pants to play groupie at concerts a couple times a year which frankly didn’t do much to satisfy my wannabe Mike Jagger attitude.

Happy to report that those days are history thanks to Ladies Rock Camp….

A great place for young girls to play rockstars, WillieMae Rock Camp now just opened 2 sessions for women and I am signing up!

After 3 days of band practice and workshops which end with a showcase concert at a professional music venue, I will be kicking ass… Big time!

Well first, I had to promise a friend to skip on the tattoos… L- can it be just a tiny tiny one, pleeease!

NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Ladies Rock Camp is all about music, collaboration, and fun. It’s the grown-up “weekend edition” version of Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls’ renowned summer camp for girls. And it’s not just fun – all proceeds go to the Financial Aid Fund of Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls, which allows young women from low-income households to attend the girls’ summer camp at low or no cost.

At Ladies Rock Camp, YOU are the band.
