Loving the sweet smell of Whiskey on me

I discovered Six Scents, a fabulous line of new perfumes in the fashion section of Scope Art. Six Scent is a new line of perfumes based on collaboration between artists and celebrated perfumers. Like Scope, every bottle had definite edge and a nonchalant exoticism that was refreshing in the usual ultra-commercial landscape of the perfume industry.

There is certainly a recent trend with the choice of provoking names of perfumes, started by outrageous French brand Etat Libre d’Orange.

But despite the tempting Illicit Sex (an essay on love) and Solar Donkey Power (??? and supposed to evoke the relaxing sensation in a sauna), I fell in love with the more sophisticated Whiskey Caramelise. I was worried about smelling like a drunken sailor but far from that, the sweet syrupy caramalized juice mixed very well with the dry whiskey. It was almost the perfect marriage of feminity and masculinity in a bottle.

With a cigarette in one hand and Whiskey Caramelise on my neck, I was just had to add leather to evoke the  good old rock n’ roll spirit that Patti Smith would certainly approve of.
