Finally I hear something that makes sense and (how bizarre) it is totally irrational !

Listen… Elizabeth Gilbert , author of Eat, Pray, Love  (among other books) is bluntly funny and so right on about the anxiety of writers and artists in general.

This is one of the most inspiring talks I have heard from the wonderful series of the

TED conferences which got her a standing ovation from a very spoiled crowd.

But the truth is, if you show up for your job and do your part, the inspiration will come eventually.

In ancient Greek mythology, the nine Greek Muses are all sisters, the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, or Memory. Each one of the Muses represents a different human art, and, according to Greek myth, they inspire artists to be able to create new music, paintings or plays.

Calliope for Epic poetry
Clio for History
Erato for Lyric poetry

Euterpe  for Music
Melpomene for  Tragedy
Polyhymnia for Choral poetry
Terpsichore for Dance
Thalia for Comedy
Urania for Astronomy

Now you call upon your muse!
