Madame X is my kind of bar… no TVs and  no guys with baseball caps on!

And it’s  is one of these places where there is always something happening (and count on me to remind you the events not to be missed).

This month you’ll see Caitlin Mitchell’s intimate and sensual photography: Mon Petit Secret. She is a very talented portrait and fashion photographer based in New York.

And Monday starts the Lady Jane’s Salon, Romance Fiction Reading Series, which features USA Today and New York Times Best selling author Caridad Pineiro, local author and Huffington Post blogger Joanne Rendell, and award winning blogger/non-fiction author Elizabeth Kerri Mahon.

Join romance authors Maya Rodale, Leanna Renee Hieber, and Hope Tarr for Manhattan’s first reading series devoted exclusively to romance fiction. Admission is $5.00 or one gently used romance novel. Cash bar. Proceeds benefit Share The Love (www.share-the-love.org), a non-profit organization that provides gently used romance novels to groups helping women in transition, such as homeless or domestic violence shelters.

It’s just fun, laces and for a good cause… what’s there not to love!
