Tracey Emin: queen of Controversy & Sex

On November 5th, the Lehmann Maupin Gallery presents a new exhibit of Tracey Emin: Only God knows I am good. She is one of England renown contemporary artist who in 2007 was made a Royal Academician, and represented Britain at the Venice Biennale in the same year.

She is famous for her work called Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963-1995, a tent with the names of all her lovers and My Bed.

Beyond a large dose of provocation, her work contains humor but also a blunt honesty which is still controversial for women artists. Whether you like her or not, she doesn’t care because Bono, Saatchi and the Larry Gagosian Gallery are already her biggest fans!
