Sebastien Tellier’s acclaimed album Sexuality was released in the US through American Apparel. You can get it at any store with the purchase of a Tellier limited edition tshirt.  Now that I think of it, maybe this is the video that inspired the American Apparel Bottom of the World contest.

Anyway, back to Sebastien Tellier ! He has been called the new Gainsbourg in hommage to one of France’s most creative and provocative musician. Personally, his lyrics need a little more work before any comparison be made to Gainsbourg but I have to admit that his videos are quite on par with the famous sensual atmosphere our our French Master.

Now the kid knows how to surround himself with talent: he started by touring with the famous French band Air, made an album with Daft Punk, the Look video is by artists Mrzyk & Moriceau and his latest one: L’amour et la Violence, has been directed by no less than Roman Coppola. If creativity feeds creativity,  expect to be hearing a lot more from him in the next few years.
